I hate it when I start writing, only to worry that I’m too closely resembling my influences. Any tricks to making SURE you’re original? lol
Don’t worry about when you write it the first time. You can always catch that stuff in the re-write.

I stopped reading after college because anyone I read – I emulated. Not intentionally, but by osmosis. Seriously.
